Recently Bought PC, Struggling with DOTA 2, Hitting average of 29FPS at low settings

Hi Guys,

 

I recently bought a PC, it seems to be struggling with DOTA 2 I have an i7 - 10700F and an NVIDIA TX 3060, 16 GB of RAM and a 1tb ssd with 800 empty GB of memory. I'm really struggling with what to do, could anyone help?

Have you checked FPS limiter / VSync?

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

Vsync is currently off and FPS limiter is set to unlimited.

You could benchmark it with 3DMark and compare your score.

A 3060 is card #60 with a score of 8696.

At the 3DMark site the scores are from Time Spy Graphics score benchmark.

There is supposed to be a free version on Steam but I couldn't see it.

Techspot has the 3DMark Basic Edition available.

It's obviously the problem of idle GPU clocks under load. On the screenshot - GPU 255Mhz; memory clock 405Mhz

But perhaps there is a chance that it's only in DOTA 2.
