Chrome kept asking to be my Default Brower

For unknown reason, every time when I tried to download something through Google Chrome (E.g. Dropbox file). The bowser automatically open up Windows 11's "Default App setting" and asking to set Google Chrome as the default browser. If this behavior continues, I have no choice but stop using Google Chrome.

E.g. Downloading Crystal Disk Info.

Anyone else is getting this problem?

My Chrome version: Version 114.0.5735.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Well said, I'm using it mostly so I don't have to log out/log in to switch accounts. Mostly wondering if someone else encountered the same issue or I missed a setting somewhere.

(I have Edge, Chrome and Firefox installed, sue me ;3 )

Well I love the sarcastic comments, but I hope someone can point me to a setting that can fix that.

Maybe it's a bug when your default browser isn't Chrome...

Just an update.

I tried to set Chrome as default and the pop up disappeared.

But as soon as I switched default browser to Edge or Firefox. When I try to save a picture or download files from Chrome, it opens up default apps in settings Every time. The "make Google Chrome your default browser" is actually a Windows thing.

Still, it's like you are in front of an ATM and a men took out a knife behind you...
