Whats this actually for?

You can easily get a 7900 XTX rather than a 4070 Ti at this budget

The motherboard is very expensive, for what reason?

I personally would rather have an nvidia card and the mother board is just what was recommended for the parts I have. Is the 7900 XTX significantly better than a 4070ti and what motherboard would you recommend.

Nvidia card for what reason?

They have their own technologies that are different, but to be brand biased will provide you less performance for the price.

That makes sense, I had just heard that nvidia is generally better. I'll do more research about the 7900 xtx but I'm still just not sure about the motherboard.

Motherboard wise you're likely more than safe with a B760 board. Overclocking is good if you're interesting in it, but usually its fairly minor gains.

This, for example, would be fine enough

You can still do nvidia with 2500$ and still get a 4090 in this budget with the only sacrifice being aesthetics

But if looks are more important then a 7900xtx is 600$ cheaper

$2500 for a 13700k and 4070 ?!?!?! That's almost $1000 than such system should cost.

If you don't wanna close money in dead platform: here is an AMD AM5 system with 4090:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($229.99 @ B&H)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler  ($37.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M AORUS ELITE AX Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard  ($189.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory  ($116.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($117.00 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Zotac GAMING AMP Extreme AIRO GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card  ($1584.99 @ Newegg)

Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2023) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($179.99 @ Amazon)

If you drop the GPU from 4090 to 7900XTX, you can fit in the budget a 7800X3D CPU, which you can also do later down the road when the next gen 3nm Ryzen 8000 CPUs come out. With the 13th gen Intel you save money on the CPU side (i know how ridiculous this sounds) but there is no further path for that rig. It's at the best it will ever be, before another platform change.

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |
