Then it shouldn't really matter.

You misunderstand how much I find it annoying then, considering the number of possible images there are to greet people with on the internet you would think that someone would avoid using something that someone else is known to use to avoid posting similar images.

It's not really that big of a deal, its not like you've got "ownership" of the image anyway. Shouldn't be hard to find a better picture for the purpose then right?

I'm not claiming ownership though I did spend 3.4 seconds adding the text to that I just find it unnecessary for someone to do that and quite obnoxious.
