What's your screen size?

Tech_Dreamer

27inch

1920x1080p

Benq GW2760, not amazing but i wanted a big monitor.

Also have a 21.6inch dell ultrasharp fp2007

1680x1050

How is it though for gaming? Planning to get the benq gw2760 today or the Asus vx279. Leaning more towards the benq because it's cheaper and better true contrast ratio (not dynamic ratio) at 3000:1 and better response time at 4ms though Asus probably has better picture due to the AH-IPS panel.

Its pretty good for gaming, true mva cant match ips but its cheaper, the only issue ive noticed is that if you max the brightness out and have a nearly all white background like this forum for instance it will have a minor coil whine, its minor but you will notice it if its quiet, not a problem for me as i have music and podcasts on all the time but you might want to consider that and btw my brother has a 24inch asus monitor which that stand and its very bad, the monitor isnt level and shakes a lot, like its gonna snap.

Yeah i've read that about the benq with uneven coloring on the upper left and lower right portion but is it a deal breaker though? I rarely come across pages with white background (i usually browse here in this forum using tapatalk on mobile) except maybe for facebook. Is it also good with watching movies?

Got it earlier but after hooking it up and using it for about 4 hours i'm starting to have a headache. The resolution on this thing suffers because of the 27" with only 1080p and the texts are a little blurry because of this. Also didn't like the color on this thing. I'll have it changed to a 23-24" 1080p monitor.

Right now I'm using x3 27" PB278Q pretty good for my needs. I'm opting for the quadro k6000 but the prices here kills me.

and baby boy is gonna come soon (dream come true) so can't spend much on my hardware porn.

Everyone has different standards, i came from using two 720p monitors so its still an upgrade, its not for everyone.
