Hi guys!

I am half a year without a pc now, I was planning to get a gaming notebook(MSI GE-60/70 series) but now I'm thinking about doing a mini ITX build because I travel a lot so I could just hop it into my bag and go. I want it for gaming, thats it nothing extra.

So here is the list:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Bull3t/saved/4Ecp

A slim slot drive like this.

Later I will add a hdd.

I'm not sure about the OS. Win7 or maybe I will try SteamOS.

I tried my friend Logitech g602 and really liked it so I got the mouse but I need a wireless keyboard.

I was just wondering if there is anything I should have done a little differently with this build. You can suggest parts what you would use.

Maybe I will change the Ram with higher clockspeed.

I have this case and I would definitely recommend picking up silverstones flexible short run cable pack and the 80+ gold modular version of the PSU, it might be hard to shove away the unused cables.

Replace 4770k with 4670k.

1x8gb of ram so you can add another stick in the future

CPU Cooler? I have the NT06-Pro on mine with an NF-F12, which doesn't fit very well and I would not recommend doing. The NT06-Pro comes with a slim fan that will fit fine with it, I haven't used the fan though so I am not sure of it's quality.

I would recommend getting a noctua NH9Li just to save you from headaches.

I think I will stick with the 4770k and 8gb isn't enough? In this case I don't want to overclock the cpu, but its small so it can be hot inside. I will think about the cooler and the psu. Thanks

Have you looked at other cases I like the corsair 250d and the evga hadron air.

Secondly I would have money on the processor and go for an I5 and with that money I would buy a gtx 780.

Yeah I checked a lot like the Fractal Design NODE 304, BitFenix Colossus (mITX),Cooler Master Elite 130

I think I will buy the parts next week but I will save for the 780,

seems like a solid build and 8gb is plenty if gaming is all the build is for and for gaming you always want to do dual channel as they perform better so stick with the Ram you chose. also if you could I would try fitting a bigger SSD into the budget as 120gb tends to be chewed threw pretty quickly

The browser and steam will run in the background but I'm not planning on a 64bit OS and later I will buy a hdd.

with out a 64bit OS 8gb is useless 32bit OS only read up to 3.5gb and don't use the rest
