What are these dots on my display? And its spreading! [Huion Kamvas 13 Pro 2020 model]

Hey everyone! I hope you people are doing well.

I have a problem I want to understand and if possible troubleshoot. Google searches has been unfruitful so far. Maybe I don't even know what to search for in the first place.

I have a 1080p 60Hz display tablet of 13in that I have been using since 2020 and I use it a lot. Its for work as well as hobby so it is switched on over 15 hours a day, even on weekends.

I have these artifacts cropping up, which look like dots. I initially thought it were dead pixels but they change color depending on what's being displayed as you can see. They're pink-ish dots against bright backgrounds and they change to white/grey dots against black or dark backgrounds.

It is annoying, ugly and it is spreading. So can anyone tell me what am I looking at here? And if there's a fix for this?

I also haven't touched any settings of this tablet other than basic stuff like contrast and brightness. Backlit level has been kept to 70 all these years. The maximum being 100. Other than that, there is no option for overdrive, overclock and stuff like that on this tablet. So I have not done anything I should not outside the manufacturer's recommended method of usage.

The touch features on that part of the screen are unaffected. But that again has nothing really to do with the display, that's the pen's technology. But just putting that info out there if anyone can help me 🙂

Note: It does heat up at the top 15% of the screen, uniformly, full left to right. And there's a vent at the back. The manual and other users on reddit claim this is normal. But coincidentally, it is the exact area where these artifacts are developing. So heating issues? But then again, the below problem looks nothing like the problem that is well known as "screen burn". So what the fish is this?

If not dying pixels, as suggested already, it could be delamination, depending on the screen construction, also probably a by product of heat over time.

It looks like the polarised is dying and the dot will across the entire screen after sometimes.

Alright got, so its definitely a hardware problem and nothing fixable from the consumer side. Thanks a lot people! I really appreciate it 🙂

Same issue with my kanvas 24 plus a little over a year old first had artifacts now wont even turn on. No help from huion. These drawing displays aren't build to last. I've seen many too many people issues.
