Turns out that if you have mobile data off it displays the x to tell you it's off

Hello I just bought a new phone and since I got it it has signal bars but also a x (I added a photo) but the phone detects it like in the settings it knows what the name of the company is. I genuinely have no clue what it is I generally know what to search and for some reason it disconnects if I'm not in the same room as the router (it could be a problem with the router but I don't think it's related)
