stupid qeustion about the nvidia picture settings

origx36

hey.

i just thought of somthing.

in the nvidia driver settings there is this place where you can change the quality of pictures in games and programs

here is the question.

if for example the driver says it will do Anti Aliasing, but in a certain game i dont want it to do it.

so in the game settings i will shutdown AA

will it still do AA?

should i tell the driver to let it self to make the settings or should i tell it to let games over ride it?

There should be a setting asking you whether to over-ride the in-game graphics settings... or to let it be "application controlled".

Don't use global settings. You use specific over-rides for specific games where needed. Generally you only use this if the in-game menu does not have the options you need. e.g. older games or bad ports

For example I was playing Mass Effect 2 today. Which does not have proper anti-aliasing. So I had to use the AMD control panel to force 4xMSAA
