I wonder if it would be smart to buy Intel i7-6950X over 13900KF

I wonder if it would be smart to buy Intel i7-6950X over 13900KF

as an upgrade to my system

I7 6800K

AII X99

*I really need a new CPU and GPU but all the recent complaints got me scared of buying new parts. The socket contact on the new intel CPUs, the 13900 reaching 100c degrees, The burning that destroy MB and socket on AMD.

Maybe i am getting paranoid over nothing...

wondering if buying a new PC at this time is good investment at all.

nope it wouldn't

But I wouldn't get the 13900k either. I would get something like the 13500 or 7600 (AMD) if all you do is gaming. if you do more productivity and some gaming I would get the 13700k then

Whats your budget, country and use case? and what are your current specs?

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

Really a pointless upgrade when a 13700K would run circles around an older HEDT chip that will run hotter and have a reduced IPC.
