Need help with picking a smartphone.

Angealy

Hello, so about two years ago around this time i ended up getting a Cosmos 2 LG, it a pretty basic phone but it did what i needed at the time.

My two years are up and i can now get a smartphone.

In case, i wasn't clear enough this will be my first time using/getting a smartphone.

Now i know, most of my family have Apple and Window Phones.

But i still don't have an idea of what kind of phone i'd like to get.

So that's where all you wonderful people come in, if you have any advice on a phone i should get i would appreciate it a lot.

Thank you for your time.

What is your budget?

What do you like in your phone, ease of use (and a closed ecosystem) or features and the ability to tinker with everything?

How big do you want your phone to be? (4' = iphone 5s; 4,5'=moto X; 5'=Nexus 5, etc)

Do you want good build quality (aluminium vs plastic)?

Do you want front-facing speakers in your phone?

Cooler Master 690 II Advanced - I5 2500K @ 4.5Ghz - Geil Enhance Plus 1750Mhz 8Gb - ASUS ENGTX 570 DCUII - MSI Z68aGD65 - Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B - Samsung 830 128gb and Crucial m4 128gb - much other stuff not worth mentioning

M8, Iphone 5, or 6 depending on when you plan to buy it. Nexus 5, Moto X

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

@Thibaudv: I'd say free-100$ max, as for what i like in my phone, i'd say ease of use, a good build quality aluminium, front facing speakers, i don't mind.

@Phage:Yeah, i'm pretty much looking for something that just turns on and works for me you know?

@NuroKnight: Verizon, free to about 100$, Simplistic, yes something that just turns on and works,i don't think so.

@dizmo: Well i have small hands, so i don't want something to big, I would also use it for everyday life and task like watching

youtube, twitch.tv, music, pictures, so on when i'm not at my desktop.
