[HELP][ADVICE][QUESTION]Delay earbuds sound 0.5-1 seconds delay

So i've currently got like really cheap earbuds as a gift/discount from buying my new phone and i'm using them [using bluetooth adapter that i bought a while back] and there's like a half second/1 second delay with sound

Is it because the earbuds didn't come with a dongle?

 

[Not to worry i still plan to buy the epos earbuds i'm just using these in the mean time and curious about delay] ?

If your using bluetooth (with your pc) then yes thats the most likely reason since that happens too with my cheap (but not too cheap) earbuds when I use them with my laptop (using bluetooth) but its fine with my phone

yes indeed, i own 2 pairs of €200+ earbuds and both have a delay of exact same time

So a dongle is kind of the issue?

Am i able to buy like a random dongle for my current earbuds will it work with them? or na i can only buy earbuds that come with their own dongle? like epos

no point, it won't be better since window's implementation of blutooth is pretty sh*t and you won't be able to link a 2.4 ghz dongle to the buds

ive never known of any earbuds with dongles, so not my expertise, sorry, go with what you think is best

 

for what will u be using them? because wired is best for gaming, while the rest is fine with a second delay time like music or youtube

 

actualy now that i tink about it, i have no delay on my earbuds since while watching youtube, the lips sync perfectly

why earbuds for wired?

 

i like to use headphones more and i have some really good headphones that are both bluetooth and wired, for 60 bucks, soundcore life q20, an ol reliable of mine, i dont know if ill ever switch from them, way too good for the price

It depends on the protocol/codec used. There are low latency ones but it needs to be supported on both ends to work.
