Hi, here are my acer aspire v laptop specs

i7 6700HG 

GTX 950m

8gb ram

 

So i noticed using hwmonitor that my cpu temperatures mostly is about 90 with max being 99 celsius. Im only playing league of legends on it. I heard that intel processors tend to work on temperature close to 100 celsius. Is that true and how worried should i be about those temps?

Intel CPUs past 10th generation run hot. Yours shouldn’t be running that hot.

 

You should be worried. Look into getting it cleaned and getting fresh thermal paste and pads applied.

I took backside apart and started with cleaning the fan only now i will monitor. If it didnt help il reapply the thermal paste aswell since i dont have anywhere to buy it today. Its holiday today at our country so nothing works... its running around 77 to 80 rn
