Wierd sound issue

Go to solution Solved by creatip123,

Try fiddling with the onboard audio's application (not the default windows sound application). Most probably it's realtek (dunno for sure though). Go to control panel, and find the icon that has 'realtek audio' or something like that. Open, and fiddle with it.

If all else fail, try reboot, go to bios, disable onboard audio. Unplug front jack (if it's plugged), and boot normally. Then restart again, go to bios again, and re-enable the onboard audio. This is a kind of 'soft reset'

Okay this is wierd for me, but maybe im just to dumb to realize a simple solution, but i wanted to use my earbuds with my pc, so i plugged them into the from of the pc, and unplugged my headset from the back, nothing worked, so i restarted my pc, and re installed the driver, now the problem is that it only has sound going through the front, and I cant figure out how to switch it to go from the rear, my mobo is a sniper 5, and if any impotance case is the 750d.

then down to your right there is a speaker icon, right click and click playback devices and you will see all your audio outputs, from there you pick the one you want and set it as default, if you have to you might need to right click the other and disable it to force your computer to switch as it can bug.

Thats the problem, the only one that comes up is speakers, which is the same what use to come up for the rear, and then there is spidif out, wich is the port on the back for a mic/audio combo jack, but i need the audio and mic seprate one. Sorry, imean that the optical jack, so i dont use it.

Which one? The fiddling with the application, or the soft reset one?
