Godzilla build 🙂

99% of people wanting a 13900K should get a 13700K, it's the same with a very slightly slower clock speed and 8 ecores less, but those are only useful for productivity. Then the 13700K is way easier to cool and eats way less power

You could also get a way cheaper board, any $400+ Z790 has all you need

But get faster RAM, 6400+/CL30

I wouldn't want to learn how to build a PC on such expensive hardware....

How about get a old gaming computer from craigslist as practice? There are things like 10, 20 years old and they cost nothing. There you can learn how to take things apart and how to assemble. That should give you some confidence.

How to properly spec a PC is another story....

With how expensive these parts are and that you have already attempted to build it and power it on, I would recommend taking it to a shop. Having a professional build this for you is your best bet, especially if you may have messed up or damaged something in your initial attempt. If you don't want to risk your parts... please, have a professional build it.

Honestly, probably shouldn't have used these parts for your first build attempt anyway.

Could you elaborate on how it "doesn't look right and doesn't work"? Do the fans spin? Any lights come on? Perhaps RGB lights up? Any beeping sounds of sorts? More information would help us here.

The alternative is you could take it to a shop and see if they could help, cause the last thing you want is to blow up a many thousand dollar PC.

Keep in mind that I am sometimes wrong, so please correct me if you believe this is the case!

The fan spins, RGB turns on, I can also get it on BIOS just that after attempting to download the operating system it would never connect

A PC doesn't download the OS itself, you need to install it.

Take a spare thumb drive without data and follow the guide

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

Then you can boot from the thumb drive and follow the installer. The installer should be intuitive enough nowadays.

Then it will ask you to activate or buy a license. Try login with your Microsoft online account because sometimes you already have a license linked to your account.

If you need to buy a license, there are many legit sellers. I don't think you should go any shady paths such as volume license etc.

If you want to use Linux the process is pretty much same, minus the license part. But if you use Linux, you probably won't be asking here 😄

I see, so your problem is can't unable to boot from USB.

Could you elaborate how did you manually boot from the drive. By the boot order override menu?

Could you show which entries are listed in that menu. Also a screenshot of the boot setting in BIOS

If the USB key is plugged into an USB port in front try the back ones.

The option looks fine. There seems like a windows installed on your 4TB WD drive too.

Is your problem unable to boot into the installer or unable to boot into the windows after install ?

Is there any error message?

No error message that I'm looking at, it's just black screen and unable to find signal
