RTX 4090 ventus or suprim x ?

Hey guys help me decide which one to get, I am in europe and price is 1815eur for ventus and 1949e for suprim x edition. Does Suprim x worth extra ?

what are the clock speeds and boost clocks of both the cards? The answer is normally the ventus if the difference isn't too big

MSI Ventus 3x RTX 4090

• Core clock 2550MHz
• Extreme Performance 2565MHz

MSI Surprim RTX 4090

• Core clock: 2525MHz (Gaming and silent mode)
• Extreme Performance 2640MHz

Google was very helpful answering your question. I suggest doing the same thing.  

 

 

Less than 100MHz difference in clock isn't worth the extra 134 Euro for the Suprim for me.

Question never was about clocks, more about build quality. VRM and cooling ability. So your answer is missing the point

ye i agree, an asus tuf 4090 isn't a bad card at all. I've heard their quiet as well

but if your doing serious overclocking the suprim x will be better. But for cooling ability and build quality their about the same (maybe slightly louder fans tho) The vrms might be slightly worse so corresponds for the price decrease

Again, FE or ASUS.

 

Ventus is lowest of the low quality wise and SUPRIM is generally worse than ROG Strix for the same price

Still, they're going to perform similarly. Build quality is actually pretty similar in design: metal backplate, fuse, anti-bending bracket, ball-bearings for fans. Power stages are slightly more robust for the SUPRIM compared to the VENTUS. That's really what you're paying for is the better power delivery system.

Difference will be minimal, not worth paying 140EUR extra

Anyway rather get a 7900XTX

From what I understand suprim X generally are less likely to have coil whine so I would personally pay the extra for the suprim x if you are already spend that much on a gpu.

7900XTX sells for 1100EUR (AIB model, not even MBA ones)
