Hello! This is my first thread here! I am abit in a pinch. I am trying to find a good computer for gaming. I live in Sweden so it has to be from here.

Here is the thing I am really bad at building computers and the same is true with overclocking I just don't do it. Knowing that would you guys say that this is a good price for a computer with these parts:

Fractal Design Define R4 Arctic White
Cooler Master V1000, 1000W PSU
ASUS P9X79 LE, Socket-2011, Endast i PC-
Intel Core i7-4930K

if it's just for gaming, MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE OVERKILL. An i5 (R9290,GTX780), (8GB RAM), (500W PSU) would be more then sufficient for gaming.

What you're doing with the computer will determine if it's worth it. If you're just going to play games, definitely not, but if you're professionally rendering and stuff, then yeah, I could see where all the power could be used.

Well honestly I mostly do gaming. But I usually run alot of things at the same time, including two 1080P screens with games and video at the same time. I do some reccording and video editing but not loads. Would a titan be better for me rather than 2 780ti? I can costomize the offer somewhat.

For your uses, neither. Just get a single 770 or 780 and you'll be perfectly fine, and you'll save a lot of money. Plus, the six-core 4930k really isn't necessary either, A 4770k would suit your rendering and editing uses, and it would be much cheaper.

2 780ti or a titan is a massive overkill. A 780/290 is more than enough for 1080p

Do you a Titan would still be overkill. I would get like an aftermarket R9-290 or a single GTX 780... No point in getting those if you're only going to be gaming at 1080p IMHO. It's jus a waste of money  that you could use on other parts of your rig. You also don't need to use the X79 chipset. You do some recording, so get an Intel i7-4770K or the upcoming Intel i7-4790K with the Z97 chipset.

The reason I was thinking of Titan was alittle for future proofing if I wanna go up to 4k resulotion.

Also is the only problem with the computer that it is overkill? or will some of the parts bottleneck? (If I don't overclock that is which I wont)

It looks nice :) A few things though. I don't need anywhere near that much harddrive space. Secondly since I don't feel confident building a computer myself I am kinda stuck with places I can order a done configuration from :( And yes I do realise I lose alot of money in doing that.

On the plus side I like my job! so if I work a few hours extra and spend a few hours less putting it together I am not sad for it :)

Lastly I don't think I can use 290x since my room gets very warm in the summer. I mean oven warm. So I think double graphics cards that run very warm seems like a bad idea :)

your going to have to upgrade later on for good 4k gaming anyway honestly get ONE GPU just one 780 and you'll be more then good especially for 1080p I have one 780 and and I get over 60 fps on the highest settings at 1440p.

Basically your options are gonna be spend a crap ton of money and have to upgrade sooner or later to a whole new system to game on 4k good and then there's money down the drain or you can be reasonable and get a good system now but for cheaper abd you won't be wasting money

Really the "no overclocking" and "mostly gaming" in OP and then 2011 socket. Just no. i7 is enough if you are only going for gaming and light editing. Even K isn't really needed if you are not gonna OC it anyway. Nor is any fancy cooler for it. Just something like 212. About HDD space though. That you will eventually need when recording and editing. Its better to spend money on that than CPU which power you aren't gonna use that much.

For you guys that use partpicker. We have bit more expensive stuff in Europe than straight conversion. So it could be as much in USD as it is in EUR.

A single 780ti is more than enough to handle what you'd be doing.

That looks very nice. I might have a place that could build it..

One more thing I am playing alot of rift atm. Which is optimised like Shiet. And it runs alot on the processor. And ofcourse only 1-2 cores. Is I7 4770k a good pick then or would something else with less but stronger cores be better?

Thanks for all the help all btw :)

Absolutely! The 4770K can handle Rift no problem. I wouldn't be surprised if it maxed out the frame rate.
