I only use a splash of milk myself. I prefer more butter.

Same. Too much milk and it removes all the taste of the "cheese".

But I feel like they changed the recipe in the last few years on that. Or there's less cheese powder. Because I remember adding exactly what is written on the box and it tasting fine, now if I add anywhere near that amount (around 75ml, or 1/3 of a cup of milk), the taste goes out the window and it just tastes bad. I've even started making it entirely with just a spoonful of butter/margarine, no milk. Taste great.

Plus, the butter helps to keep it from becoming dry.

Realistically, more water is better.  Just don't go overkill and fill up a 20 quart stock pot for a single box of KD.

And as others have said, use more butter than milk.  If you're using Canadian KD, it has a better cheese sauce that is nicely enhanced with the creaminess from adding extra butter.

...and don't forget to chop some hot dogs into the final dish lol

That's the great thing about KD.

You can use whatever you have.

Butter, margerine, milk, cream, oat milk, just water.

Water and a box of KD is all you need.

water...how the hell dose that...

any way it was an April fools joke thow i would still like to no how much water and milk is needed...

ya the extra creamy has the most cheddar.

ya i think the original kd lost like 50gm that's probably why.

the calyflower one is not bad thow im cheap and will only pay $1...

i waited a whole year for avacodos to go on sale just to save $3...
