Computer keeps crashing after rearranging my room

Benjamin Idel

I encountered an SSD overheating issue that led to BSODs on my Corsair Force MP500 in the past, and I moved the ssd to a slop with better airflow and after that everything was fine.

I rearranged my room and now the PC crashes when the SSD is at 59 degrees which was smooth sailing in the past.

The crashes appear to be BSODs where the kernal (the part that was overheating) is the one causing the error, or just a complete freeze.

Please help me, I need my PC for work as well as gaming and I can't use it when it crashes every minute or so.

I suspected the extension cord might be the culprit but an electrician friend told me it is highly unlikely given that the cable wasn't getting hot and the max load on it was 800-900 watts at peak while the guage could handle 1.5-2k
