Got a hyper 212 evo (an ancient one) and lost the backplate due to sheer idiocy and forgetting to take it off a board before selling it off

I still have the upper part of the mounting mechanism (that weird bracket thingy thats shaped like an X) so how the hell would i go about buying a backplate for this thing?

Also got an old xigmatek cooler (5 heatpipe) but ill inquire on how to get that mounted when i get home and take pics of it

Wanna use it on x58 cause i am indeed building an x58 pc to sell and cpu is an e5645 so im targetting 4-4.3ghz

Specs if anyones curious

Spoiler

X58a ud3r

E5645 (might swap for x5650)

To be bought

24gb 6x4 ddr3 (for 2000-2200 dual rank, d9qbj cause xeon imc sucks)

Gtx 1660 or 1070

600w psu

cheap 20$ mesh case (incl 3 rgb fans)

480-512gb sata ssd

You could try requesting for the AM4 backplate again with the support. That should have the mounting point for the 1366.

Howd i go about doing that?

The h212 evo i got a year ago off a deal with a giga x48t dq6, q9550, and 4gb ddr2 and all of those have been sold off now and i left the backpanel on the board so now the 212 doesnt have mounting (i was also gonna sell the 212 but no mounting = why the hell bother selling it)

So not even a warranty card? I genuinely cant find any in Indonesia, but i can find LGA 1700 easily. Maybe send a request to buy or maybe look around computer stores physically.

Unless you are asking from US coolermaster, it's pretty much a pipedream.

If it's US branch, they might, but most likely they will ask you to pay for shipping. Which will cost ya figures that equals a brand new better cooler.

Local Distributor of CoolerMaster (Or other brand) most often won't bother giving you one, unless you know someone inside the local distributor for that brand to steal one for you.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

Will this thingy work? The backpanel does use screws like the original backpanel, the black mounting ring thingy wont be used
