New Install without ability to create USB

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

You might be able to use a computer at your local library, or ask a friend if they can lend you a laptop for this purpose, or see if a local PC shop would allow you to make a boot USB for really cheap or free

Greetings,

I've looked through the forum a bit and am unable to figure out with my current situation. I am building a new computer (am5) and would like to install windows. To do so it seems I need to create an installation USB.  I have the USB, but unfortunately I do not have a PC to download and run the windows creation tool.

While I could pay the full price, I'd prefer to purchase a windows key only. I have an iPhone, and iPad at my disposal, but no PC. My old PC will not start. I built it back in 2010 (asus p6t with intel i7 920). I have my work laptop, but don't have admin access to be able to run the creation tool.

All this to say, is there a way to fresh install windows without purchasing a Microsoft Windows install USB?

Thank you in advance!

E

ask anyone you know with a pc if you can make it on their computer.

or they can make it for you.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

+1. Although you are kinda boned to their internet speed so if you are the kind to splurge on fast internet plan keep in mind that itll take a while. Another method would be to just go to a computer store and ask someone to install unactivated windows for you, with small tip for cost. I know thats common service in Indonesia and also other nations.
