Dear tech gurus,

For a while now ive been encountering an issue when gaming. At some point during my sessions my pc will randomly freeze and restart by itself. When looking at  Eventviewer i see multiple warnings with the source "WMI". The errror message reads :" A provider, IntelMEProv, has been registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace root\Intel_ME to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests."

 My specs are:

i9 10900

rtx 3080

not sure about the psu but its 850 80+ gold

b560m ds3h v2

32gb of 3200 mhz ram

My temps are low, atleast on the gpu side of things. Ill need to check cpu.

Im using intel upgrade assistent to update drivers and ive got all the most recent stuff.

Edit: Cpu seems to be running at about 60-70° under stress.

Just now, Haha said:

IntelME is the Intel Management Engine, typically you need to install the driver for it from the motherboards manufacturer webpage in the support section. The Intel Upgrade Assistant also will not update the bios for the motherboard. So if you haven't been getting the drivers and bios updates from the motherboards support page they're most likely out dated or wrong. I would update all that you can and see if there are still issues.
