Hey Y'all

I'm comfortably set up on my new PC now after dealing with some issues (SSD died)

I've installed HWINFO to check if everything is all right.  I noticed every time I launch Battlefield 2042 the CPU temps JUMP to 100c+ for a split second and settle. (the spikes you see on the graph are only at 75c) The 100c+ never actually show up on the graph. During gameplay my temps are fine other than the initial jump. And in other games I don't notice anything like this.

I am wondering if this is a glitch with HWINFO as it seems unusual. Should I be concerned about this?concern.png.23b78ab529e901faa84eb7f8f222f9ff.png

Specs:

i9-12900kf

MSI MAG CORE AIO Cooler 240R V2

RTX 3080ti

64 GB DDR5 RAM 4800mhz (Weird ADATA model)

WD_BLACK SN850x 1tb

MSI z690-a wifi motherboard

This isn't a problem that's just intel's boost method and the heat of the 12900k. Also I hate to say it but I don't think any cooler (apart from LN2) can tame the beast

It's probably just CPU launching the game as fast as possible, and throttling at TJmax tempature,

since it never goes past 100°C sounds like the throttling works, and since during gaming it doesn't spike, it looks fine to me, let me quote some people who might know if I'm saying things right or if I'm wrong.. @Levent @PDifolco

I think it's a HWinfo glitch, if it was really hitting 100C right when launching a game it would not lose temp that fast
