The Pro B650M-A performed well in Hardware Unboxed's VRM thermal testing, with the VRM staying at just 78C after an hour of Cinebench running on the 7950X. So the board is perfectly capable of upgrades to future high-end CPUs. This makes it a solid jumping-on point for the AM5 platform if the feature set fits well with your needs.

 

The 7600X is a great performance CPU for gaming and other light productivity tasks. While not great for core-heavy productivity, if that isn't your use case, the CPU should serve you well for quite some time. And when it is eventually time to upgrade, the motherboard will be able to handle it.
