If I install Win11 in a partition that previously had Win10, will my GRUB dual boot entry get deleted?

Boot from a live-USB, mount the Linux partition, then run the commands to update grub. See here:

I have a dual boot setup with Kali Linux and Windows 10. I want to install Tiny11, a modified Win11 OS. I am thinking of clearing the Windows partition and installing it there. Will I have to update the grub entry to add Windows 11 or will it remain the same? Please help

I assume you've got both set up on the same drive? Installing Windows generally overwrites the MBR, so you'll need to repair your Linux/Grub installation afterwards.

So if I delete the three windows partitions and then install tiny11 in the free space, when i boot into windows, I will make a live usb and then use the terminal to update grub. Did I miss anything?

I would probably be easier to create a live-USB beforehand (while using Linux), but yes, that's essentially it.

You could make that USB drive a Ventoy drive and boot multiple ISO's from it
