Hi all, I installed the Crucial MX500 1 tb SSD in my PC build late last year. I was wanting to know what your experiences were with it, over the course of several years as I recently had a data corruption issue with it. I fixed the data corruption using the command prompt, but I was curious if I should consider a new SSD in future builds.

Its one of the best Sata SSDs on the market. Data corruption can be a few things, if you used the Crucial software and it showed it was having issues you could get an RMA for it probably.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking to buy another one for my mom's old laptop. Just wanting to make sure it was a good one and not a piece of trash.

I have 2 of them in my main desktop, haven't had any issues whatsoever.

using 2 2tb sata versions with zero issues for 2+ years now.

Had the mx500 250gb since 2018 and its still going strong. I have used hundreds of these by now and its an awesome drive for a great price

I have the 500GB one for roughly 4-5 years, works great.

It used to be my main game SSD but now I have it for OS and games on NVMe.

1TB with 7410 hours on it and just shy of 12TB writes, 720 power on count, not an issue here either.
