I have remade the list and I think it looks amazing for the price.

Total: €1028.55

Budget (including currency): € 1000

Country: netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games, premiere pro

Other details

Hello everybody, after a lot of research for my new pc build i decided after tips from others here to crank up my budget to € 1000.

So in this budget i will be able to build up my pc with the parts needed, like mobo, processor, ram, cooler and gpu.

I already have a 650 watt psu from be quiet.

So i choose the ryzen 5 5600x processor with aorus pro b550i ax Motherboard, with 16gb ram, be quiet dark rock 2 fx air cooler.

The part what im stuck with is the GPU!

I will play games mostly on 1080p,but 1440 is also welcome. I have a 1080p monitor,in future i will upgrade that to 1440 or 4k.

For now i will still use it. Its an 75 hertz monitor.

My main trouble is that i use premiere pro for video editing. And im stuck with the choice of AMD or NVIDIA GPU.

Nvidia is very expensive here in my country, netherlands. AMD IS a bit cheaper, difference in price is mostly too much between amd and nvidia.

My main thing is that im leaning towards amd, i did research and found the rx 6650 xt interesting, price €370 and maybe the 6700 xt price €440.

But for nvidia 3060 ti price bumps up wayyy higher to almost €500.

For me its a big gap. My main question is,will the amd rx 6650 xt or 6700xt handle premiere pro for rendering and exporting tasks. I know it will handle gaming at 1080p and 1440p with good fps. But its also important for me that it can handle premiere pro tasks. Editting is also important for me.

Will AMD able to handle it or is it not a good choice also in combination with ryzen 5600x. If its alright with premiere pro than i can also make the decission between 6650xt and 6700xt. The GPU use will be for 2 years untill i can upgrade it to maybe a 3070 if prices drop down. And also a processor and monitor upgrade.thats why i choose the Motherboard for future uograde to a ryzen 5800x3d processor.

I hope somebody can give me advice to make the choice. Maybe somebody also have somewhat the same setup and uses premiere pro also.

Thanks in advance for the tips.

Hi.... If you have a $1,000 budget I suggest going with a Radeon RX 6800XT or a Radeon RX 6750XT. Both are well within your budget and might leave room for more RAM or storage. Below I have links to both cards.

XFX Speedster QICK319 Radeon RX 6750XT Ultra $485

XFX Speedster MERC319 RX 6800XT 16GB $635

I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. For Future Communication I use Discord for much Faster Response Times as I have it open 24/7. If your use case is AME and you dont have a render server, then skip AMD entirely. OpenCL integration for AME is still horrifyingly bad. On Photoshop its better but on AME ive had so many corrupted footage issue on my RX460 that i have to switch to software render sometimes.

Are you assuming the 6700xt will have the same issues as the rx460?

Look at the 5600 as well, it's cheaper and performs damn near the same. Comes with an air cooler that doesn't suck.

PC HEROES, i was looking to buy thar case but saw some good reviews but hi have to put fans at the bottom and in the top. But that will cost me more. 4 x fans will be something like €100 extra in my budget.

Dedayog, youre right i was looking also at the 5600, its only 200mhz less speed than the 5600x.so i think i will check it out. Because its a difference of almost €40.

I have s lot to compare now. Only thing is the GPU. I think my choice will go to the 6700xt. Will donm9re research if it can work well with premiere pro. I hope so.

Hi, I have added fans, a 6 pack that has RGB and a Fan Hub so that going to the motherboard it only uses 1 cable instead of 6 to the list and re-worked it a bit to be a little cheaper but still just as good. If you have any questions please ask.
