Deepcool AK620 Zero Dark vs Deepcool Ls520 AIO for Ryzen 7 7700X

Hi Guys I need some help. What is the better performing Cooler? AK620 or Ls520?

I know they aren't the same type of cooler but My problem right now is that My AK620 Zero Dark hasn't Arrived yet and I need to get my PC up and running ASAP. So I'm thinking of getting a LS520 AIO which I can get now but is double the price.

Soooo should I just wait for the AK620 or just get the Ls520 Aio now?

Thanks

AIO are almost always better than air coolers but it honestly depends on:-

1. Your CPU:- having an aio for say, i3 would be pointless.

2. Your PC case:- air coolers won't do much of your chassis doesn't have ample airflow from the front

It truly does not matter from a performance perspective. I cool my 7900x with an AK620 and its dead silent. Limited to 85c in the BIOS and its faster than stock in Cinebench.

You should probably watch this and understand a bit more how these chips work.

Personally had 2 AIO's throughout the years and NH-D14 and NH-D15 from Noctua.  I will NEVER go back to AIO's.  I cool a 7700x with the NH-D15 and its never above 70c during gaming, and I have my fan set so low I can't even hear them while browing the web ( No curve change for gaming, just 30% fan speed until 90c, that it never reaches )

Yeah, I have a flat "curve" until 85c which I'll only ever see if I'm rendering or running a benchmark and my 7900x is at full load. AK620 is dead silent 99% of the time.

You 100% do not need an AIO for these chips unless you just like the aesthetic.

Indeed. I just prefer the reliability of a dual tower cooler, if one fan fails it will still run well with 1 fan ( Probably wont even notice a difference in temp )  until I can get a replacement.  And it will do this for infinity.  AIO's fail, its that simple.  I also like the industrial look of a beefy air cooler.  The new deepcool assassin 4 is actually really cool.
