Searching laptop for Work

My friend need a brand new laptop that can support her during working times. a windows laptop and Not used. detail below

 

Requirement

• Budget : 660USD / 10 million IDR maximum
• Usage: work like excel and Video interview ( webcam )
• Size: 14 inch , good brightness 300 nits if can.
• Good build (not fragile especially the hinge) and good battery.

i suggesting her HP/ASUS/Lenovo but there are so many option. regarding about the Video Conference use, i do not think that between price range i made above has laptop with good camera quality. a laptop with external logitech camera connected via USB are optional. the budget does not need to be at maximum as well.

I think an msi modern 14 is a good budget choice 

R5 5500u with vega graphics and a good build and battery

Not really in ID. RMA in here are usually serviced or fully replaced with new unit, with the broken things sent back to central (usually either Jakarta or Singapore). So no, refurbs are not a thing here, not even Apple.

Pick two, you can’t have all 3.

 

The closest thing of new, around $600, with a good feature set for conventional work with a good webcam is probably the current gen Lenovo Ideapad 3’s. They’ll be decent 14” machines with good I/o, good displays, good camera, except they’re ideapads. They’re built like any other consumer laptop, if you drop it you will break it, more durable machines cost more.

@Needfuldoerwe do not have that things here such as refurbished just like @SorryClairesaid. service or buy new ones.

@8tgi dont expect aluminum like macbook but lil bit better but i know i will get plastic ish consumer ones. i will check the Lenovo 3's
