Cooler master H500 vs Cooler master HAF500

Kodiak_Shep

H500 is $139 and the HAF500 is $169. Biggest difference is that the HAF500 has a rotatable 120mm fan position on top of a HDD cage redirecting air cooling to the GPU.

Is the GPU dedicated fan worth the extra 30 dollars? As will I see noticable temperature cooling?

Me personally : Nope its not worth it. I can DIY one with a fan + 1 or 2 aluminum L bracket bent into V shape + VHB tape/Epoxy Glue/magnet, would cost me like... $2 - $5 without the fan.

It also depends on your GPU, if your GPU is thick and long enough to almost reach the front, that fan will be near horizontal all the time.

Pics I found on google:
