Why Intel?

Do you mean desktop as in the desktop form factor or just a tower?

Is a copy of Windows or any peripherals needed?

Which shops are you using?

Why Intel you ask? Because Ive never got any problems with an Intel chip.

I mean a tower build :) And yes a copy of windows is needed. And last Im not using any special shop.

Special shop or not, we need to know which shops you're using.

There are many shops in the world but only some are actually available for you to use.

I agree with @JelleDekkers with these parts, except I would use a single 8GB RAM stick so I could upgrade in the future with another one if I would feel like it.

And the 1TB HDD should be enough for a long time, like 2 years if you keep your stuff clean. Also you should use partitions, as this will be your only drive in the PC if something happens with the windows you don't have to reformat the whole drive and loose everything off of it. :).
