What those resellers are doing, is basically the definition of scalping. Both prices are above double, what you'd pay for a screwdriver in the UK, including shipping and taxes.

Yes its scalping but just like with 3090s this is a luxury prestige purchase where the price is not determined by the quality or function of the product but by the amount of weird fanbois who like spending way too much money on things because of the branding or the status that comes with owning such an unneccessarily expensive piece of merch.

Who cares? The solution to scalping is to not buy from scalpers. At least with GPU scalping there was an actual shortage of GPU's. There's no shortage of screwdrivers, only a shortage of ones with an LTT logo on them. Only a fool would pay these prices. If people want to be fools it's their problem. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
