Fan connectors default/recommendations

Hello people, first time caller long time listener,

So, I switched to a new case (Fractal Design North) and I had to reuse and reconnect some Silent wings 3 from my old case plus 2 new fans I received with the case (rather noisy vibrations at max speed - Aspect 14).

I have a Asus 570-E motherboard and I am using the AI Suite 3 to tinker with the fan speeds (as you can see in the attachments).

The connector setup:

1. TOP Silent Wing 3 140 - AIO_PUMP -out

2. TOP Silent Wing 3 140 - CHA_FAN2 - out

3. BACK Silent Wing 3 120 - CHA_FAN1 -out

3. FRONT ASPECT 14 140 - W_PUMP-in

4. FRONT ASPECT 14 140 - M.2_FAN-in

5. NF-A15 PWM - CPU_FAN -NH-D15

6. NF-A15 PWM -CPU_OPT -NH-D15

Currently the system is silent however I don't like the ramps on some of them (fixed red zones I cannot set under).

I will change the 2xASPECT 14 to 3x NF-A12x25 soon and maybe get a Deepcool FH-10 hub (any opinions? )

Is there anything I did wrong?

Do you have any recommendations regarding the physical configuration?

Are the red zones in the AI SUITE limitations or of the individual connector?

Have you tried unchecking the "critical temperature" setting? It looks like that is what is limiting you to 75c/100%

You did run the fan tuning function which did test each connected fan.

The red zones are the speeds at which the respective fans aren't turning yet.

Most fans don't start turning from 0 rpm.

So those "not turning" speeds are not available.

You can see the value "Fan run when power is higher than"

But that should be ok, a decent fan isn't noisy at 600rpm

My curves are like that (the cpu fan is set to react stronger than the case fans because the cpu fan is the most critical)

Some of your curves look weird or too agressive to me (which doesn't mean much, I never had an AIO) no wonder it's noisy

Also, did you set in the bios which fans are PWM and which are DC (this is probably not important as both types behave similarly) ?

@leclod

" Have you tried unchecking the "critical temperature" setting? It looks like that is what is limiting you to 75c/100%"

It sets the minimum and locks the pin for when it commands the fan to go 100%
