CPU Overheats and PC "Runs into a problem"?

Hi all,

I have been have problems with my PC of late when trying to play any game or even when watching YouTube!

I recently Switched Cases to a Corsair 4000xRGB

Specs are as Follows

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

MB: MSI MAG B550M Mortar Max WiFi mATX AM4 Motherboard

CPU Cooler: Stock with AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB (3x8Gb) and Kingston (1x16)

PSU: Corsair 750W CX750F RGB 80+ Bronze

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

CPU temps sit at 45-60C at idle 80C+ as I try to run games

I would also like to make a note that I am running positive Pressure in the case

I try to launch for example COD CW and it worked perfectly fine in my old case, I changed my MB the same time I changed my Case as well as GPU and it also worked fine for like 4 days.

at this point I'm looking to change to an AIO Cooler!

any and all help is apricated!

Wouldve been nice for you to elaborate on that as i dont understand whats going on from this alone. Whats the temperature reading on the CPU and GPU? You can check that with HWiNFO64 if you havent yet.

Any weird noises you hear from the cooler and the fans? Are you sure youve plugged all of the PSU plugs all the way in? have you try to do a CMOS reset?

You could try reapplying thermal paste. Are you in a hot room? The stock cooler should be fine enough

Hi,

I have done this 3 times since changing over to the new hardware (23 days ago)

The room sits at 27C at its highest

Yeah no sounds about right for the temperatures on stock cooler especially if your fan curve is geared for quiet operation. Try to tweak those around.
