Gtx 770 2gb multi monitor?

Will my asus gtx 770 2gb of frame buffer handle more than one monitor? I am asking this because I want to be prepared for the upcoming star citizen dogfight module. Also how many more graphics cards in sli would I need to run this type of setup? I only plan on using my current 750w power supply.

do you have this card or do you plan to get this card, i suggest a 280x for higher reoulutions as it has a extra gb of vram

As far as your GTX 770 handling two monitors, yes, it will. Even both at 1080p.

 

However, as far as the Star Citizen thing, I do not have enough knowledge about and don't feel comfortable saying one way or another.

 

But you should have no problems using 2 monitors with your 770.

No way with Star Citizen. You need crossfire/Sli setups to run that at max.

CryEngine is so intense that it can eat up babies, and 2GB of VRAM will probably not be enough for 3 monitors if that's what you're planning.

actually yes.

 

I mean back then we were fine with 1gb.

 

even if you have 2gb from 770 you can play with it on 3 monitors put everything on lowest or off and if you get like 30fps avg be happy.

 

unless you oc your 770 to something like 5000mhz it's another story but not sure about the aa and stuff.
