That is basically a 4 port router with Wi-Fi - why do you need a "bridge" mode? Typically you put your ISP's modem into bridge mode to use something like the Valet..

I already have TWC's router in bridge mode to run my asus router, but I want to have the valet in bridge mode so it can run multiple devices in my room without me running cables across the hallway.

Checked on the site - I don't think that unit supports wireless bridge mode. That is typically a specific feature set and not a lot of units support it. Make sure it's listed as a feature when buying a new one.

No no, i need to bridge it with a wire. I am ok with having the one run across the hall, I just want multiple. Is wired bridge something that I can do with this unit?

Ahh, got it. :)

Ok, so, the cable you run from a LAN port on the ASUS to a LAN port on the Valet - NOT the WAN port. But, before you do that... Have the Valet running in a default mode, not connected to anything, so it should be doing DHCP. Connect a machine to a LAN port, get an IP and connect to the management page. Give it a static LAN IP on the same network as the ASUS - so if asus is 192.168.1.1 for instance, give it a static IP not in use and not in the ASUS DHCP range, so maybe 192.168.1.2. The trick to "bridge" it, is to have the same LAN ip as the existing network. Once that is done, turn off DHCP on the Valet - as you will use your existing DHCP, I assume on the ASUS.

Now, plug in cable from ASUS LAN port to Valet LAN port and then you can plug other devices into the Valet's remaining LAN ports and they should get on the network.
