PC runing too slow for no apparent reason

He got single BIOS, it is AMI BIOS.

Does he know that he can just install a BIOS update in Windows? I have done that before, only thing that can go wrong is if the power goes out while installing.

Never! I did it once... had to RMA MoBo my self. Never update BIOS from within Windows.. NEVEEEEEEEEEEER!

(It worked for me 2 times before.. 3rd time it did not....).
