Static routing, 2 routers on same network

Hey guys and girls 🙂

I have 2 tp-link routers in 2 different buildings, they are connected through a LAN cable.

I have a problem with the local network between them. I can't access PC from one building to another, but the internet works, only the local network doesn't.

A: main router is with ip 192.168.0.1
B : wan: 192.168.0.9 LAN: 192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0 subnet

Hereby an image, showing the scheme for the routers:

You have use one of your router in Acces point mode to transfer the local network between them or setup portforwarding inside the second router to the port on the first routers LAN

As Gokul_P says, on Router B, log into it, disable DHCP and change its IP address to something like 192.168.0.2.  Then connect router A to router B using Router B LAN ports only (do not use teh WAN port).  Then reboot or reconnect your devices that are connected to router B.. You will then have one flat network where everything can talk to everything all on 192.168.0.x.

there is no Operation Mode menu on the web interface of TP-Link Archer C2 v.1 router . When , manualy make Access Point setings through LAN port

I'm getting weird wireless behavior. The internet on LAN ports are good have local network, but wifi is unstable and Have packet losses.

When working like a router everything is ok , but dont have local network

Router B thinks everything connected to wan port is outside/internet, so it WILL ALWAYS block ALL if you dont set it up correctly as mentioned above. 😉

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Then you might need a proper Access Point.  There are no guarantees when using a router as an Access Point as its pretty much an afterthought.

Although you could also flash router B with OpenWRT, I'd probably do both.  They're not the most powerful routers though.
