I know linus is sponsored by PIA, Im just curious if he himself use it/backs it. If anyone happens to know that is, lol. Im thinking of buyingthe two year option as it seems like a decent deal right now compared to others ive been looking at. Also would anyone be willing to tell me which one they themselves would choose if given the options of cyberghost or PIA. I plan to use it for torrenting, netflix, and possibly Kodi. it seems impossible to get a straight answer by reading review sites lol. Knowing that Linus is sponsored by PIA though really kinda stears me in that direction. anyways I appreciate anyone willing to comment on this, cheers eh.

I don't remember the reason but I think there were some issues they took with PIA that ultimately made them to drop them as sponsors. I know one of the VPN they used to have as a sponsor was bought by MCaffee so...

Anyways, if you want good VPN it seems like Mullvad is one of the best if not the best but it's usually also not cheap since they offer no deals at all, ever. They had the same price for years which is around eur/$ 5 per month.

The fact you can pay for it even by sending them anonymous letter with cash and the randomly generated number that is the VPN account (you dont really even register for an account, you just get assinged "number" which you pay for) its quite fantastic.

not anymore.

if i recall PIA got aquired by a party that didnt necessarily have a good track record. it's not that 'bad shit defenately happened', it's more a 'didnt want to be involved if it ever would' kind of thing.

that said.. there arent many vpn providers that have said good track record in the first place, so do with that what you will.

PS: i went to look it up, cyberghost is under the same parent company, so if that's your options.. it literally does not matter.
