Core i5 2500k Build

What about a case and fans?

It doesn't really matter, it's not like you're building a powerful system where you'll need good airflow. You don't mention any storage so I'm assuming that has to fit into your $200 budget as well, we can't afford to be picky about tempered glass and RGB.

Budget (including currency): $200

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light video editing, minecraft on low settings

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Core i5 2500k

4x8gb Kingston DDR3-speed unknown

GIGABYTE GeForce 730

Corsair SF600

I have a monitor and keyboard/mouse that I can use temporarily.

I don't know what is a good motherboard to get.

I do not know what resolution of refresh rate the monitor has, nor do I care, unless it affects the ability to build the rest of the system.

Long story short, One of my friends does not need the parts anymore, and I do not have a PC currently, so he gave them to me.

Main "Rig"=HP 11A G6 EE

Android Tablet

Raspberry PI Zero W 2

If you have any fun ideas for things for me to do with my PI, send me a direct message.

I plan to upgrade within a few months to a proper computer.

Just get the cheapest compatible board you can find.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

A. Your spelling is atrocious.

B.Provide links to these parts being sold and ALL of the new ones being bought and prove it.

60$ sf600

So 200 + 18 + 60 + 20 + 60 = 358$ basically that system I spent 2minutes looking for.

Keep in mind these are the lowest SOLD listing prices I found at a glance.

So basically either you build some old cruddy system or you can buy a mediocre dell with a cpu thats like 8x the performance and will OBLITERATE this thing in your tasks.

The hd730 graphcis are also about 30-40% faster than the best 730.

Do you have less ram? Yes will it matter? No. You have a ssd here and the system actually has the power you want for your tasks. The i5 with that much ram means little as it's just so old and weak it won't realistically be able to use all the ram before it slows to a crawl.

Also please do not judge spelling that is just mean. I could very well also to that to your post but I won't for now.

Is this the way you think it's appropriate to treat people whose help you're soliciting?

I only said anything because I am on a chromebook and it shows the red lines in his text when I quoted him, and it is annoying. Spellcheck mabie? Few extra seconds so I don't have to decipher this to get the help I asked for?

Can also hit you with one of these. F instead of an r.

Anywho. As shown a FAR better system is available by ditching this 12 year old hardware.
