Hey guys I want to get 2 video cards and put them in either Crossfire or Sli. I am also going to water cool them so I also want to get some help from you guys on Water cooling. But the main thing that I want to know is. Does Amd or Nvidia look better and perform better in games?

I am very curious to see what I should use and also if you have a card that you can also find a waterblock for that would be great.

Here are my system specs. Thanks in advance for all of the feedback!!!!

Specs:

i5 3570k

EVGAGefoce GTX 670 SC 4gb

MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard

Coolermaster Silent pro M 1000W power supply

16gb G.skill RipjawZ ram

1tb Harddrive at 7200rpm

Corsair Neutron SSD 256Gb

well they run similarly in games with 780ti out performing the 290x by a bit, but the 290x is cheaper i think. 290x is also better for 4k gaming, but if you aint 4k gaming then just get gtx 780ti's if money isn't a problem.

My Little Gaming Rig:

CPU: FX 8320 | MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-D3P | RAM: G.Skill Ares 2x4GB | GPU: Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X | Storage: Seagate SSHD 1TB | Case: Corsair 200R | PSU: CM 550W V-Series

Upgrades to come: CPU FAN: Corsair H100i | RAM: 2 more 4GB sticks | GPU: Another R9 270X running in crossfire | Storage: Samsung 120GB SSD | PSU: Corsair 800w

Totally agree with this, when the 3000USD Titan Z drops to about 2999USD, it'd be a great time to grab a truckload of 'em! :D

Seriously though, TS has not mentioned at what res and the kind of games he's into, nor has he mentioned a budget, so it's kind of hard to say which is better. I have a pair of GTX670 2GB and for 1080P gaming, they are boss and handle every mutha humping game at max setting + AA pretty damn well.  My dual 290X in CF are awesome for triple monitor gaming at 5760x1200, heck, even Crysis 3 is quite playable at max ingame + medium AA setting.

If you're asking about if the picture/pixels look different in game, no. They'll look exactly the same.

If you're talking about the physical cards/waterblocks, looks are subjective--pick whatever looks good to you.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

imo just grab either a 780 ti sli or 780 sli (due to gpu boost 2.0). if money doesn't matter.

but if you got some budget. go with what other people say get a 2nd 670 and sli them and then slap em with water blocks.

Live your life like a dream.

if you already have a GTX 670 get another one and save money. If money is no mater here then I'd say, for the money, get a R9 280 and crossfire those or two GTX 780's.

Ok so I am going to just buy another 670 and watercool them. What size fittiongs should I get to fit my whole rig
