LG 27GP850 is good. Recommmmmmmmmmmended!

Yes, that looks good, but the 400-500 dollars are for the budget to upgrade my system for a 1440p monitor. Or is the 1080 good to run my things at 144 hertz at 1440p? Or what gpu should I get for that?

My question is what part of my system should I upgrade to go to a 1440p monitor. Like should I get a new GPU or something?

nothing , yours (and basically any system from the last decade) should be compatible with 1440 monitors.
