Will more fps give me the will to game?

Go to solution Solved by JustFarmer,

If you come home tired and have stuff to do at home or outside, when you finish you are even more tired and then just want to have a drink and lay on the sofa. Playing is actually a stressfull activity even if you dont perceive it as such. Its not as laying down on the sofa in the two last free hours of the day and nearly falling asleep with a movie. It keeps your mind and body more active and you just dont have fun due to stress and thinking about work tomorrow or other things you must do on your free days.

Bottom line, playing is not relaxing, whatever people think it is a clinical proof/truth.

Casual play, you know, I slapped two controllers on a mobile phone once when I did some artisan industrial work, a lot of math and also phyisical activity. In the 25 and 15 minute I had of rest I would take them out, have a smoke and a coke and play some nipones rpg's emulated or some street fighter, maybe something weird like doing dosbox on android. Beat a few games like that but eventually I would get home and not spend more than an hour at most, mostly none at all playing pc games. On the weekends, perhaps, well; maybe a few nights I might have pulled too many hours with those "one more turn" situations but far from the younger years.

Either way, when you are tired, you are tired. Dont play games, do something else. Relax watching a movie and then to bed. Call your brother and talk about games with a drink while you sit in something more confortable than a simple chair, whatever. Eventually you will find yourself some free time and some old or new game that gets you hooked again. In my case, a certain time of the year in which the green is as grass, then the door is locked; the field work can wait. Italian coffee machine and then a whole tribe of indians is nothing to that room. I might even just spend that time on something from 1992 or something from 2019.

Good luck!

Been on a bit of a slump lately about gaming, work long hours so i get home tired and with stuff to do. Thought about getting a new graphics but i find it hard to justify since I Can't find games that i can enjoy casually anymore since i can't play when i have the "desire". Anyone else had this shift when entering the adult life? what should i do? what are some good games to play that won't get me obsessed completely and dont require friends since im pretty bad at that too lol

Soooo, what kind of "games" are you playing,  tend to enjoy, or used to?

It's a bit hard to suggest anything here without knowing that, also would you be open to try something new?
