Should I upgrade my gpu?

Well..... Crysis 3 is finally installed! But..... I know my GT 630 would choke while playing this game...

Should I upgrade my GPU or get more memory? (Note that I am going to play the game at 1280*1024 Very High

Probably a 7750/ r7 250 or gtx 650

And I don't care about the GTA IV 'cause I am cool with it... Plus I will get a steering wheel for NFS! And a graphic tablet for editing pictures and so...

get a 1080p monitor, it doesnt matter how "high" your settings are if there's only 10 pixels.

depending on budget id recommend a 7850/r7 265 because the memory bus is doubled over something like a 7790 or 750ti.

750ti is pretty good for power consumption but its still pretty weak, the aformentioned 265 outperforms it by 12.5%

yeah my 7850 draws maybe 100w whilst gaming under load...130w under furmark

you can run a 7970/r9-280x on that thing if you have the pcie powers and a decent 20amp rail on your psu, so a r9-270 or 265 wont be any problem.

Well, the whole idea of 750ti was that it had reasonable power for very low power consumption, basically, it's just very efficient. If you can't upgrade your psu then it should still be ok.

But again, WHAT IS YOUR BUDGET

Well, in that case, you can go all the way up to r9 270 which cost about $215 for the xfx one on ncix, not sure how that might change wherever you are. But that would mean you have to forego the steering  wheel (I assume that's what you mean)

It would be fine on a 460 watt psu. Even a decently overclocked 3770k and 680 draws around 370 watts while running valley benchmark AND cinebench, so 100% load on everything. And a butt ton of peripherals. Also an overclocked 4670k +780ti runs on 450 watts fine. Source:

But if you really want a steering wheel, then get a 750TI, ~$170-180

Edit: Gah, I didn't know that posting a youtube link makes it an embedded video

Here in Pakistan, there is limited amount of stuff to buy.. the r9 270 is well above 25000 PKR (250$+) and the 660 is almost 24500 PKR (245$)..

lol just rob a bank dude if you're successful you can put x2 r9 295x2 in quad and blow your power supply unit!!!!

ok scratch that lol had a little drink fest here.

I still suggest the 750 ti for one it does give good performance for the price and for the long term electricity bill.

well you can still opt for more if your psu is from reputable brands.
