Whenever I’m gaming, and the gpu is under load, once the fans start to reach max speed, I hear a rattling noise from the fans. I’ve made sure it wasn’t the gpu itself by individually testing the fans without the pc under load, and it’s only those on a card I’ve had since the 26th of December. Any possible fixes?

what gpu is it?

usually when fans go full speed any little wobble would even out, I often find with fans with a slight wobble that they make noise at lower speeds,

if it is a gpu fan wobble then there is not a great deal other than replacing it... try pc on its side see if noise goes away.

Also check your temps as them hitting full speed might indicate it needs a repaste

My GPU fans make rattling noise when they reach very high fan speeds (speeds that are overkill for daily use but necessary when i am benching for overclocking competitions)

It’s an MSI ventus 3060 2X, and I just recently installed it, so it shouldn’t need a repaste unless it was a factory issue. I will however try your suggestions tomorrow and update this then, otherwise thank you.

headphones could solve it , or just louder speakers could also work

I have my volume quite high on my headphones when I play the game I was at the time, and I could hear it past all that. That’s the main reason for concern.

that's the reason i started doing watercooling.. 2 1080 ti's that sounded like jet turbines...

but... it's important to get an inline temp sensor that fits the board external 2 pin connector. to set fan speed to water temp...

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003128427640.html ... you'll need a pump/reservoir, at least 240 radiator 2 fans 6 fittings (2 pr unit in the loop) and tube... so it's an expensive fix.. ..  you can increase radiators.. or get thicker radiators and fans to need lower fan speed to disperse the heat.  if you get a male/male socket,  temp sensor too, you can get a nice quiet setup..

This is what it sounds like under load, and it’s only the gpu fan, and there’s no wires hitting it whatsoever.

i don't know if you're aware,  but what you basically just said is that you bought and old rusty mining card and its loud.

because why would you otherwise be so remarkably sparse with info?

if this is a new card rma obv

I apologize for the terrible information, but I bought it brand new and that was happening 1.5 weeks after I put it in my PC.

Ok, so it didn't do this in the first week?

I think you should actually rma it if so, because it seems something is wrong with one or more fans... isnt worth it to fix yourself (if you even figure out whats wrong exactly which may not be easy) on a brand new card imo.
