Posted January 2, 2023 So randomly starting yesterday, around 2:AM When playing RDR2 Online, my pc shut off. I restarted my pc, with no applications running again the pc shut off, no memory issues, this had been a very clean install of windows as well as it just being installed two weeks before the issue. I have all the latest drivers, I tried troubleshooting hardware as well already. As well as doing simple tasks can sometimes shut it off as well or white screen. Specs: Two 500 GB 970 Evo Plus SSD'S AMD Ryzen 5 5600 RTX 2060 ASUS DUAL OVERCLOCKED 16GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB RAM 500 W POWER SUPPLY AMD STOCK COOLER NH CASE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted January 2, 2023 If something is bad with the cooler or the gpu it can go up to 100 real fast. Had that problem once with my i5 8600k and that didn’t run as hot as the Ryzen 5000 chips. Posted January 2, 2023 Yeah thats not normal. Even the stock cooler should keep it at 90c at most and for the Ryzen 5 5600x the .Mac is 96c before it shuts of because of overheating. Overheating also could cause those visual artifacts. Try repasting and reseating the cpu. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
