Hi, Lately I have ran into this weird problem with geforce experience where basically all nvidia features are "not available", This happened basically randomly and out of nowhere
I have attempted reinstalling geforce experience, switching to different display resolutions and enabling experimental features and nothing changed

I also used DDU in safe mode and reinstalled my entire graphics driver and the issue still exists

CPU: Core i5-10400F

GPU: GTX 1660

OS: Windows 10 x64 22H2

(Note: I am also running the newest driver version for this GPU)

try an earlier version?

impossible afaik, forces you to login and will auto update.

(not the driver but GFE that is)

Of course it does, silly me. Well to be fair I haven't had GFE installed in a long time.

NVCleanstall install Nvidia drivers without any bloat or extra stuff. It's really neat and it's free performance and less bugs!

oh i see, i tried that some time ago... somehow didn't work... do i need to do something specific,  or DDU or something (maybe i should read the instructions? 🙃) 🤔

It's best to DDU so you remove everything you don't want. I don't know why it didn't work for you, never had a problem with it personally.

What I did was DDU, shut off driver updates in Win update! Then boot normally and run the app. I'm on Radeon now and I don't remember what settings I chose but I'll look for some screenshots.

Choose best driver

If you dont need USB-C you can safely skip that but it doesn't matter much in terms of performance or storage so I included it anyway. If you don't need HDMI audio you can disable that too.

I think hardware support is set automatically, don't think I changed that. You can disable driver telemetry but I just let it stay since it's experimental.

Now, NVCleanstall will install on your PC so just have a shortcut and you can use that app to check for driver updates. Neat. No need for that buggy bloatware that demands a login... 🙄

oh ok cool thanks! i think what i tried  to install was "nvslimmer" so i confused the two... and no that didn't work still had telemetry and all the good stuff!  : p

I'll give this a try later...

also any idea if it makes sense to install Shadowplay that way? cause i really like it - if it works - which is like half of the time 😄

ps: for clarification i mean only shadowplay,  not GFE... so you still wouldn't need to login etc... should theoretically work, if they made it an option... and seriously I think GFE is what gets bugged out randomly... its a load of nonsense except for shadowplay which you can by default only use with GFE installed

As far as I know, Shadowplay is a part of GFE and GFE is required for it to work but you can see how it goes. There was a bug a while ago in GFE which caused massive CPU load, haven't used any parts of it since then but I think SP requires GFE unfortunatly. If it does you can isntall GFE and SP and leave everything that SP doesn't depend on.
