After overclocking ram computer wont post, yellow motherboard light

Trolli

Specs:

ROG Strix B-660 f

32gb DDR5 5600 mh/z corsair vengence

i5 13600kf

1080

750w BeQuiet

After enabeling xmp the computer wont post, and the yellow light on the motherboard is on. I tried ram speeds lower than 5600 down to 4800, still a black screen. After cmos reset the ram is clocked at 4000. Is there a way to get it to 5600?

I had the same issue with my i3 10100f CPU paired with MSI H410M-K motherboard i tried to overclock my cpu to 3200 but i couldn't the highest i can reach is 2666, i did some research and find out that my motherboard is limiting my RAM Mhz, well cpu still gonna use 2666 even if i overclock it to 3200 Mhz cause that's the highest it support but you can use it on other applications, so anyway i believe its your motherboard that's preventing.

I just looked it up and your CPU and motherboard both are 5600Mhz compatible and i never encountered this problem before but i do suggest it you have 2 Rams try one by one and if you have only Ram make sure its in the Right slot. Also try XMP 1 instead of 2 cause it auto set the volts and stuff.
