New A770 or Used 6700 XT?

Budget: ~$350

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Apex Legends, Minecraft with shaders and Terraria. Mainly upgrading to free up my gpu for another build. Will be streaming at the same time as well.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Current monitor is 1440p 144hz.

Upgrading from a 1650 Super, planning on upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 and a b550-f motherboard.

6700 XT.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Unless you're a sucker for fun (fun as in constant troubleshooting of odd issues), then stick with the 6700XT. The A770 is more realistically a competitor (when it does work) for the 6600/6650XT anyways.

If you go for the A770, you have our blessings for being a Beta tester for Intel Arc and helping it mature.
