How to increase the weight of Logitech G502 X Plus?

Go to solution Solved by BobVonBob,

It looks like there are some 10g weights available from ebay that might fit in the puck at the back. They're for older models, so I don't know if they'll be the right size for the new puck. Some of them seem to be available with matching covers, and Logitech hasn't changed the design of that puck area, so that would work correctly.

If that's not an option, double sided tape and coins/washers should be able to add some weight. Or if you really want to bulk it up you could probably squeeze 25+ grams into that rear compartment using lead shot with some sort of binder. (e.g. glue, wax, etc.)

Is there a way to increase the weight of the G502 X Plus?

I was gifted one this Christmas, and I thought it would come with one, just like my original G502 Hero.

disassemble the mouse, stick something heavy inside under the top hood, then assemble the mouse again.

I found the old 10g weight disks from the G703 I gave to my mom a while back.  That worked

Did that G703 weight shake around in the G502 X Plus?

No, but that's only because I also swapped that piece with G703's weight disk casing.

The 502X's disk casing (if I should even call it that) isn't made to house a weight disk, but it has the same dimensions, magnet placement and polarity as the G703.  They're essentially compatible.

Ya hate to see it

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
